Welcome! I’m Melanie, the founder of By Poesy.
I’m a playful creative with an eye for detail and a genuine love for design. From nostalgic influences to modern aesthetics, I can turn any idea into engaging visuals.
I spent many years as a graphic designer in the magazine industry, refining my skills in editorial, advertorial and print design. During that time, I created custom imagery, digital collateral and animated social content for major retail groups.
Since then, I’ve built websites, logos, podcast covers, billboards and full brand identities for a wide range of service-based businesses, including photographers, singers and copywriters.
I approach every project with kindness and collaboration, and I promise to treat your business with the same dedication I give my own.

In our strategy session, we map out your brand vision, voice and visuals to ensure your website is not only captivating but built to convert. Much fun is to be had as we brainstorm design concepts that will resonate with your target audience and grow your brand.
Design
Drawing inspiration from our strategy planning, I will pull all the design elements together to create a user-friendly, stunning Squarespace site that tells your unique story, capturing who you are and what your brand represents.
Launch
Once we’ve worked through the final tweaks to make sure your site looks and feels right, we go live. I handle all the behind-the-scenes technology to make your launch exciting and stress free, as you turn your dreams into reality and share your brand with the world.
